Panda
The panda is a critically endangered species of bear. There are approximately only 1000 pandas left in the wild. The parents usually give birth to the panda and once the baby is about 1 year old they leave the child at its own risk.
Often nicknamed the Asian bear or Oriental bear, the panda bear once lived in Vietnam and Burma. One of the most alarming panda bear facts is the size of their total population. The worldwide total estimate is less than 1600 and has put the giant panda bear on the endangered species list.
